TODAY IS THE DAY! The first The Girl Behind The Blog vlog link up was so well received, it had to happen again! Andi from The Hollie Rogue and I are so super duper excited for you all to link up your The Girl Behind
The Blog vlogs! We can't wait to hear what you are learning lately! I know most of us think we sound weird on camera, couldn't choose one topic that we were learning, name dropped bloggers like you're winning an oscar for no reason or
are 100% certain YouTube's main goal is to give you the most unflattering
thumbnail options in the world.
Oh, well. That's just life. And to name drop again give credit where credits due my necklace is from Vintage Wannabee and my earrings are from Acute Designs.
But enough about me, we want to hear about you in your own words! If you need to see the
ground rules or to grab the button you can head over to the prompt. Make sure you follow both Andi and I (we're the first two videos!)
You only have to link up on one of the host's
blogs because our links are interlinked. So, come on... tell us what you're learning! Here's my
The Girl Behind The Blog vlog. Enjoy!
NOW ITS YOUR TURN TO LINK UP!
Your adorable!! Aaahhh!!
ReplyDeleteAhh I just love you - so cute! :)
ReplyDeleteYou're so right about community being important - and how true that such a beautiful community is found in this amazing group of ladies in our little blog world - so awesome!
Thanks for hosting this! :)
Great vlog, Ash! Seeing your blog makes me wonder why I always leave it until the last minute when there's no good lighting, I'm tired, and am in pajamas. Haha! One of these days I will look cute and make a vlog during daylight :)
ReplyDeleteIt's good to hear your voice again, Ashley! And... YOU GAVE MY A SHOUT-OUT?! Oh, my gosh. That just made my day! It's not even 6am CST, and you've already made my day! And yes. I'll be your personal cheerleader any day! You are wonderful, Ashley! Simply wonderful! I wish you a magnificent day! *hug*

meg
you already know i loved your vlog ;-) wink wink..and i think you are so pretty.. but again, such a good lesson on the importance of community!! =) (p.s. does anyone, you, or anyone want to teach me how to link up the "You might also like" parts of your posts... ?? =) i want to "learn" that!
ReplyDeleteI was telling Andi that this makes me MISS YOU EVEN MORE!! Not fair! Can we just do a huge Video Chat with all of us? Preeeetttty please!?
ReplyDeleteThanks for making me do a Vlog. I officially hate you now. LOL :)
You are so stinkin cute! I love it!!
ReplyDeletealthough I barely started reading your blog I already think you are the bees knees! such a fun video, I might make my own!
ReplyDeleteMy husband I live 9 hours away from our closest family…and having a child while not having a close community is such a challenge…totally relate to that!! I also love the community I have found in blogging. Sometimes I feel closer to my readers and supporters than my own family! Loved linking up for this!
ReplyDeleteI love this, Ashley! As I mentioned in my own vlog, our message series at church is on the ten commandments of community and sitting under Pastor Samra for this series and the one previous {which was reexamining the basics of the Christian faith - and blew. my. mind.} has strongly informed my faith. If you want to listen to any of them, head over here: http://www.calvarygr.com/sermons
ReplyDeleteI think one of the super cool things about blogging is that we get to build community in addition to that which we've already built or are building in our local areas. In some cases they become extensions of our local community. I have one friend who also blogs and we met up at Starbucks a few weeks ago and it was so cool to sit there and talk about blog friends we share and what they're up to and how excited we are for them. I just love it when these two worlds merge!
You are SO gorgeous!! :)) I love what you are learning about community! :)
ReplyDeleteI agree... it is hard to find people to hang out with and grow friendships with when you're new to a city. I couldn't agree more! Thanks for sharing this and for hosting the link-up! :) Can't wait for future vlogs! :) Oh, and I love Lindsay, too!! :)
ReplyDeleteIt's good to see ya again :) You are so right about community, and I am so glad you are finding your own community in CA and online. It is so important! I hope to someday soon find mine too.
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting, Ashley! Loved this prompt! I love hearing about how your family finds community. I totally agree with how important this is- I'm moving in August and know that I want to intentionally seek out a community to be part of!
ReplyDeleteI loved your vlog and what you're learning. Vlogs are my favorite way to really get to know other bloggers because they talk and laugh and you get to see what they're actually like beyond the pictures and the written words. Awesome link up :)
ReplyDeleteNew follower! And I love this vlog idea!!! I just might have to do it too next time! :))
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun idea! I'm definitely going to try to link up with you ladies soon. I'm your newest follower and would love for you to follow back :)

Darn, I missed it! I'm definitely linking up next time. Vlogging is so scary to me, but I really want to do something different and get out of my comfort zone.
