I don't even feel all that right about sharing my own grief about the incident- as a human, as an American, as a mother- because it in no way can compare to what I'm sure is being felt elsewhere and I would never want to cheapen it.
But I recently read 2 articles written by lovely ladies with beautiful hearts and beautiful words and I echo many of these emotions and feelings. These are not my own words but these are my feelings
Rachel Held Evans- God Can't Be Kept Out
Amanda from Royal Daughter Designs- And Yet I Write
Casey from Casey Leigh- Feeling The Hurt
Know I am praying for the victim's families and our country in this heartache.

I know what you mean, I hate to even say I even feel heartache over this because I know it pales in comparison to what others feel. its hard to express pain for something you almost don't feel you have a right to express...
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way. For the first two days after I refused to wach or read any news. I just couldn't allow myself to go there yet. Today I am finally trying to come to terms that something of this nature happened. I agree with Julie it is difficult to express heartache because I dont know if it is my right to express that. Praying for their little community & for our sweet children growing up in this world.
