Each month, I watch every single girl behind the blog video. I try to remember key facts about the people who show up every month. Somewhere along the way Megan started to link up. She was funny and kind of sarcastic. And she went to college in my hometown. I started paying attention.
One day she wrote about finally deciding to following her dream, and God's calling, to become a photographer. She quit her job, did a little rebrand of her own, and jumped right in to the photography business. I immediately thought Man, if I was still in Orlando I would totally use her as a photographer. Plus she is adorable... I mean, come on.
Cut to, my friend Katie and I (and 2 other non-bloggy friends)
foolishly, oh so foolishly volunteering ourselves to plan our 10 year high school reunion. When talking through our plans for the night ok I admit, its going to be super fun Megan popped into my mind. I super nervously emailed her and she agreed to shoot my Reunion! Yay! And less than a week before we were going to officially meet at The Influence Conference.
Basically, I tell you all this to say that Megan and I are big fans of stepping outside our comfort zones. Ok, I dont want to speak for her but I will say she's done it. Whether its something big like quitting your job and starting your own business to something small like reaching out to someone you dont know... Stepping out of your comfort zone can be awesome
